Serious point. Why does thethe think he and those loons have so much power within the Republican Party? He always talks about rooting out people like Kemp, RDS, youngkin from the party when they are the ones that win while his minority within a minority cant? I’m flabbergasted. In order for the republicans to win the Oval Office, They need to be United. 2020 proved that.

Turnout was very high in 2020 because there was a large group highly motivated to vote for very poorly chosen one and an even larger group that was highly motivated to vote against. Gotta look at both sides of that equation. Can't pretend the second side doesn't exist.
If there is a rematch of 2020 that second group will be out again in 2024 (augmented by a new wave of young voters brainwashed by people like me, while the trump voters have been dying prematurely due to deza-flavored vaccine hesitancy and other manifestations of folk libertarianism). You can take that to the bank.

I know we haven't had that full-cavity audit. But I have a little bit of bad news to share--we aint having it in 2024 either. Meanwhile people like me have been hard at work brainwashing the yute. We know what we're doing.
One side would certainly refuse prior to the election to have a large scale post election audit.

It's sad how they get so butthurt about challengers that have no chance of winning. Truth is Trump feels the need to tout his margin of victory much like he did with the Republican primary in 2020 and these challengers hurt that narrative that he is desperate to sell people.

What was different about the 2022 midterms is the independent vote broke slightly in favor of the Dems. Very unusual to see that happen for the party in power in a mid-term. I suspect it would carry over in 2024 even with a much higher turnout.
