Regarding these polls... they serve two purposes, in my opinion.

1. Convince Republicans that Trunp is only the person who can win.. and this set a trap for us to walk into before the media and dems destroy him after securing the nomination

2. Convince dems to put pressure on Biden to step down, showing only he could lose to Trump

Absolutely right. Trump appoints people based on how much they kissed his ass not based on how well they will do the job. Jeff Sessions because he was the first to endorse him. Elain Chao as a political favor to Moscow Mitch. Etc. Everything about Trump is about trying to build an illusion. He doesnt even care if its someone being over the top crazy in support of him like crackhead Mike Lindell or Kraken enthusiast Sidney Powell. People in Trump circles wont say it out loud but its clear by many of their actions that they know this is how it works. So many are out there virtue signaling to the Don hoping to be rewarded. And anyone who doesnt say that Trump is perfect in every way imaginable is perceived as an enemy that must be crushed. That really gets to the heart of why I cant support Trump. Anyone who says you must support me 100% on everything and simply having 1 disagreement on an issue makes me the enemy is someone that I will never support. Ron Paul is my guy but I disagree with him on some things. Like we cant feasibly go back to the gold standard. Great concept but not practical.

I still am confused... why was Trumps endorsement so critical for RDS and Reynolds, and so worthless for Lake, Mastriaono, Walker, Oz, and countless others
