I’m not sure investing in a pitcher over 40 who has only started 26 games over the past 2 years is the best way to mitigate our injury risk

I don't disagree. But he'll be relatively cheap.

I could be wrong but I'd guess AA apologists. I think you can like AA if that's your thing, but the last 3 years have been cringe worthy for AA. We've come to be known as a winning organization and that's true, but this reliance on HOPE is terrible. Speaking for me, I'd rather be ahead of the pitching curve than behind it.
