Dave Roberts is nothing like Lehmann. Roberts was cut from the same cloth as Snit in terms of archaic managing. He's just recently started implementing tactics into his managing his bullpen. Lehmann has been described as a data-driven "analytics fiend."
 
The Dodgers BP issues have mostly come from 3 guys. But if they are that afraid of using their pen, then the solution should have been to piggy back Kershaw in the 4th, which would allow Snell to pitch again in game 7 in some sort of capacity if they get there. Maybe even in game 6 if they really needed him.

At this point, Snell is basically done. And tomorrow Yamamato goes in game 6 after throwing a complete game and 105 pitches in his last start. A game in which they had a 5 run lead heading into the bottom of the 8th. And they have barely used Sasaki all series. I get they want him as the closer, but he can easily throw multiple innings. He should be considered a 2 inning pitcher every appearance.

Really poor BP management from Roberts all series.
 
I get he's paid handsomely to do it, but the Dodgers would have been ousted days ago without Ohtani. It's hard to believe they've looked this bad thus far.

Several things went the Dodgers way that game. They very easily could have been swept. I hope the Jays can end it tomorrow.
