I ain't smart enough for even cornellI encourage you to audit the antitrust class with whats his name. You’d probably enjoy it (again, unless it is Cornell).
I'm surprised they haven't picked up another SPGood bit of cash the Mets are taking on
Honestly not thr worst idea since the Braves once again need MIF depth. We should trade for lil Acuña to make big bro happy. Give them Elder. Lol
He's been worth 1.4 bWAR each of the last two years. He's definitely not been "bad," but he's been average outside of 2023. The upside is clearly there, but I'm not sure it's something a logical team would bank on.Has Robert fallen that far?
Also need SP depth.Honestly not thr worst idea since the Braves once again need MIF depth.
I’m a bit confused why so many projection models (FG especially) are so high on the Mets. The positional situation is actually pretty damn good at this point, but the pitching is rough. They legitimately need two or three solid arms. I’m sure they’ll land one elite guy, but they still need a lot behind that. And the bullpen is pretty questionable too.
For reference, all 3 of those guys are FV 50s according to FG's 2025 updated list. I don't think the Braves have an equivalent package to offer, even including Cam (Waldrep is a no-go for Peralta imo).Marino says the Mets are having conversations with the Brewers about Peralta. Said Tong was the initial ask but the Mets declined. Now, they want Brandon Sproat and Jett Williams.
