Forgot who it was before the Kim news that said they just had a weird feeling Ozuna ends up back with the Braves even though it didn't make sense. I know I laughed and said there's no way... lol, now it's a very real possibility.

He’s a good cheap bench bat that can provide some pop still. Plus he’s a good locker room guy. Why not for the right price. It’s not like they’d be signing him to be an everyday guy at this point but he’s a better bench bat then anything they have now

I'd rather have someone more versatile like Hoskins, but I'm assuming he'll wind up with an everyday starting opportunity on a crappy team. I'd also look at Grichuk and hope for a bounce back year.

I would also rather have Goldy... I'm not sure we ever actually got the real story on Ozuna and the dealine.

I guess Dubon would play 1b if he needed him one but Goldy spitting time at DH would work. Not sure if he'd take a bench role.

I actually didn't realize just how much Goldy has fallen... but it all depends on Ozuna's health... we saw when the hip was nagging him, he was about useless.

Seeing the dip from his hip injury is why I'm really excited to see a healthy Murphy this season.

I think Murphy is gonna be a beast when he comes back completely healthy.

Hoskins can play LF or 1B about as well as Ozuna who hasn’t played LF in 4 years and has never played 1B.

Yaz signed for essentially the same deal as Bader. Bader is a much better defender and also plays CF, but Yaz is a far better hitter and is also a solid defender in the corners.

Certainly doesn't seem like an overpay to me

Do with this what you will, but I’ve heard the Braves don’t want to give Bassitt the years (he apparently wants two to three), but Giolito and Atlanta have mutual interest.
