AA might actually be a lazy motherfucker lmao just add a pitcher.

I'm being facetious, by the way. But there's no reason to keep waiting. Just make a damn quality move.

I was thinking the same thing yesterday. When Valdez signed thats about as late as I'd want to be making arrangements to stay, etc... AND start to get ramped up.

Selection bias at play here

The likelihood of “not faring well” might explain why some of these pitchers are signing late in ST

OTOH, the Braves have done pretty well with late signings in the past with Ervin Santana and Dallas Keuchel.
 
I think AA and our pitching scouts just may be good with the 12 we’ve got for now if the agents are keeping the prices too absurdly high…. AA definitely is negotiating from a position of strength and has the reputation of not effing around when he gives an ultimatum.

I’m an idiot, no question, but I’m good with going to war with what we’ve got….until we are down five pitchers by April 1.
