2025 Around The League Thread

It’s almost like hitting coaches are overrated.
Meh, I think they're important — but more in terms of teaching an approach than anything else. Seitzer had plenty of success here, but when things went sideways, the offense really struggled. Now, you can see the patience and reduced chase in their approach. It’s not perfect, but it should hold up better when the bats cool off.

They had this same approach every year he was the hitting coach since 2018, minus last year when most of the lineup was hurt. They didn’t just suddenly change their hitting philosophy last year.

Wasn’t there somebody around here who said back on February 17 that Allen should win the SS job - and then got told that Allen wouldn’t start over Arcia nor should he…? Memory is fuzzy….
I think that was me. I got jumped on pretty good for it.

I was also pushing for Eli to get more chances a while back.

After all I've heard about the dodgers' staff being a mess, here's the weekend matchups...

Holmes vs Yamamoto (1.06 era)
SS vs sasaki (3:55 era)
Elder vs may (3.95 era)

Braves may be 0-6 vs dodgers by Sunday night. Hopefully SS pulls one out
