2025 Around The League Thread

I've seen/heard some fans yell pretty reprehensible things from fans. Philly fans heckling Joe Jurevicius about his recently deceased new born son is probably the lowest of the low.
 
It brings me a lot of joy to see the Dodgers have spent around 600 million on their rotation and it's currently one of the worst in baseball. In fact, their entire pitching staff has been pretty bad. Luckily for them their offense is amazing. But I can't see any way that they make a deep run in the playoffs with that rotation.

Honestly, if this came from a Philly fan I’d 100% believe it was specifically aimed at Marte’s dead mother without even questioning it.

They had a lot of health risks in there with Glasnow and Snell. Tanner Scott hasn't been as great either
 
And that is without factoring in Ohtani, who is both a SP and a DH. If you want to include Ohtani, they've spent about 1.3 billion on SP and they currently have a combined fWAR of 2.9 rom their starting pitching, which ties them for 24th in the league with Miami and just .4f WAR ahead of the Rockies.
 
I hadn't realized Freeman had been in such a bad slump. In June he's got a slash line of .179/.258/.226. Good enough for a .484 OPS.
 
I’m not ready to say this is the beginning of Freeman’s inevitable slide, mainly because of how he started the season. It will come eventually. But yeah, he’s in a slump.

Isn't that sorta like the drug dealer gets more time than the drug user? Not saying I agree, but that seems like the same idea
