They put up 4 in the top of the first vs Philly the other night. They proceeded to get no hit and lose from there. Incredible stuff.

The braves and Mets are in competition to see who can kill more of their fanbase this season. Not sure which season I would prefer - total ineptitude (braves) or slow kill (Mets, assuming they lose out on WC). Think I would prefer slow kill... at least I would be watching meaningful games right now
Think I agree, even if it would be more painful.
I still don't understand how Ranger Frigging Suarez takes that mediocre ensemble of pitches while throwing 90-92 and puts forth the type of seasons that he has the last 2 seasons. His WHIP since the start of last year ranks him 45th in the majors with a min of 200 IP. His K/9 is 42nd. But somehow his ERA over this time is 3.15 (18th).
He has 1 pitch that rates as a great pitch which is the curve. The rest of his pitches have mediocre movement profiles that sit around 91 MPH or lower. Dude should be getting hammered on the reg.

Nah son. This season, with all the shit going on, has nothing on the WC collapse several years ago. That was fucking brutal and never want to have to watch my team do that again.

I dont understand what you dont understand. He gets ground balls and limits homers. You can get away with more baserunners when you do that, Pitching isnt all about movement. Ranger imo is a poor mans Fried.
