I don't understand exactly what the MLB clubs see in Vitello.
I can understand why college baseball coaches would want out though it's probably still easier than months and months in hotels.

The sport that requires the least from a coach is mlb. Vitello isn't a moron like snit, so he'll be fine

The job is literally managing wealthy and not wealthy adult men from wildly divergent backgrounds over a 162 game season, which Vitello has never done.

It's not rocket science. He very well could fail, but baseball coaching is basically just having common sense
DEI.
I guess he just wants to be in the Majors. Can't blame him for that.
But it's a real head scratcher for SF hiring a college coach

The decisions aren't rocket science or really all that important. The rest of the job is.
But is he a leader of men?
I make fun, but managing the relationships among the team and associated people is a hugely important part of the job.
I think it heavily points to Lehman since the Dodgers are still playing.
