Kelenic sucks. Verdugo sucks a little bit less. I'd rather have a reliever.

Probably to start the season since he hasn't been getting at bats. I can't imagine we'll seriously entertain JK and De La Cruz in the OF for more than a week or so.

With McCann and Verdugo the Braves are finally building something approximating and MLB bench. I do agree that Kelenic and Verdugo feel a bit redundant.

I can see them giving Kelenic a month to show something. They rearranged a lot of deck chairs to bring him in and bet on his potential. Shame it doesn’t look like it’ll pan out.

He's cheap and controllable and can play all 3 OF spots so I think somebody probably would. Maybe we add another piece to get a better piece back.

I also don’t see a problem keeping him in AAA, once they deem Verdugo ready, and just preserve the OF depth.

If you squint you can picture a Kelenic plus AJSS for Cease trade. I’d be very reluctant to trade AJSS now though because I haven’t seen his latest statcast data on stuff that the eye test says is improved from last year.

Fifth OF, or also AAA, if they prefer Eli White and his speed / defensive versatility for the former role. Let him and Kelenic start everyday in Gwinnett, and see if either can materially improve down there.
