2025 Spring Training Thread

How many more times are you guys gonna play hitting coach from your couch before you realize Albies knows what he's doing better than you?

Just because I don't bow at the alter of AA and can point out concerns that are of his own doing is not whining.. Soroka was an easy call for a team that is looking at significant starts from guys like Elder/Waldrep/Anderson/Holmes/AJSS.. Even if he couldn't be a starter, he showed over 30+ innings that he would be a very reliable reliever. Something the Braves also need. with his pedigree, that should be enough for a 10 million gamble.. there were other here who were calling to get him before he signed.

Even at Soroka's worst, he is better than Elder/Waldrep/Anderson and no more of a question mark than AJSS and Holmes mediocre savant data (that is advance stats, if you aren't sure)... If you need sunshine pumped up your ass the whole time, head over to reddit and join the circle jerk around the shrine of AA..

I think there’s plenty to criticize AA on and have done so. There’s a large gap between whatever you’re trying to say I do and your constant whining about basically every thing lol it is genuinely a little sad guy

Over the course of 3 games Albies has moved his back foot from a couple inches off the inside line of the box, to just barely touching it, to an inch or so on the inside line today. All in an effort to pull every single pitch. And that's exactly what he's doing...pulling everything foul or right down the line. When he "fouls off a pitch" to the right side it goes to CF.

His approach has now deteriorated to the worst I've ever seen.

Joe was complaining about a tight strike zone, but I thought the ump was solid and Holmes was just a little off . . . probably nibbling a bit too. All the same, he came through it fine. He's got a rotation spot locked up, IMO.
