He’s got 8 strikeouts to 18 walks. There’s no team he can be effective against. If he didn’t have his pedigree he would have been released already. He’s not a major league pitcher.

If only there was a way to make that determination before ST of 2025. Oh wait, there was, and a lot of folks on this board were saying as much.

Really small sample, so trying to stay hopeful . . . but Profar's instincts in LF don't look good. He's a fairly athletic guy, but bad reads / bad jumps are a regular occurrence. He comes across as a guy who will put in the work to get better, so maybe the staff can help him along a bit this year.

If decent defense and horrible offense is the best we can hope for from SS this year, I'm on board with giving the job to Allen.

The Braves have now officially acquired enough AAAA relievers that they could have just spent on a Paul Sewald.
