Polanco had a 134 OPS+ last year.Their top 3 are really good. Average at best past that. A few names that were good but have fallen off.

Yes, exactly this. I love Max Fried, but Fried-from-the-Braves went on the injured list EVERY SINGLE YEAR from 2018 - 2024.If I’m remembering right Fried missed 3 months with us in his walk year with a forearm strain. He held up fine for the Yankees last year but it’s totally possible that with Snit and Kranitz at the controls he’d have injured himself badly last year and would currently be out.
Then there is a problem behind the scenes the Braves need to address if that is the case.Yes, exactly this. I love Max Fried, but Fried-from-the-Braves went on the injured list EVERY SINGLE YEAR from 2018 - 2024.
He went to the Yankees, they publicly talked about tweaking his pitches and approach, and then he stayed off the IL for the first time in his career and had a career high IP. You just have to give the Yankees some credit there, and I fully expect that if he’d have stayed with us he would have had the typical random DL stint in August, at minimum.
Well, we have a new manager and, most notably, a new pitching coach. Replacing the one we’d had since… 2018.Then there is a problem behind the scenes the Braves need to address if that is the case.
