2026 : Around the League

Reds are going to regress hard, right? They are something like 6-0 in 1 run games and 4-0 in 2 run games

Sometimes teams can run a lopsided 1 run record to a division title. Rangers did it a few years ago. Reds are -3 in RD so it's likely they do regress but it's also early and the RD can obviously change if they play better. Central looks like a tough division this year.

Maybe. Their run differential is nearly even, which does suggest luck. But their BP has been pretty great overall, and teams that do well in 1 run games typically have a great BP.

However, there is no getting around the fact that the Reds offense is putrid outside of like 3 guys. A couple other guys like Stephenson and Steer will probably come around eventually, but the Reds are almost certainly going to run out sub-.700 OPS hitters in 4 spots of their lineup. That isn't the type of team that is going to win 100+ games, like they are on pace to do.

Sal Stewart is friggin beast though. You could argue he's actually be UNLUCKY given his .276 BABIP.
