Unlike last year’s ST where it seemed like we lost every game and nobody gave a damn, these guys seem to be playing a lot better - in every facet. I find that encouraging. I think a winning record in ST is a good thing- I think it sets a certain tone and habit of winning. I put forward our winning ST record in 2021 and 2023 vs. losing record 2024 as firm, hard, non-cherry picked and irrefutable evidence to support my theory.

Ritchie's looked really damn good this spring. Both his slider and fastball and generating more spin than last year. It's really hard to not be encouraged and even impressed.
