The new rules have pretty much invalidated the stolen base stat. Acuna’s 40/70 season is pretty overrated if Soto can steal 40.

I feel the same way but I keep reminding myself that the dinosaurs probably felt the same way when they lowered the mound, introduced the DH, interleague play, etc, so I’ve learned to let it go
