It's odd that we start the season with an off day. Usually you want the off day after your home opener so you can make it up in case of rain.

The weirdest part is our opener was initially scheduled for Thursday but got pushed to Friday a couple months ago. I can't figure out why that decision was made, but we're not the only ones with a Friday opener. Colorado-Miami and Toronto-Athletics series are as well.

It is really odd they would make that decision. Opening day ALWAYS sells out, no matter the day or time. They could have gotten a sell out on a Thursday and then gotten the weekend crowd after that, which again are usually sell outs or close to it.

Yeah I was shocked seeing us start with 13 straight games. I cant recall a season starting like that. We even had a day off in the first series before.
