4/1. Cubs game 1

he’s really not tho. certainly has his issues but it’s funny that his average performance last year would’ve been welcome in any of the first 3 games. or if any of the other young pitchers can put up a 2ish war year, it will be nice.

Bro Newk is terrible. Stop.

He kinda is.

I know he isn’t. But he’s got some of the worst command I’ve ever seen. And it’s a shame because he may have the best stuff on the staff.

There’s no way in hell that not walking people is part of this organization’s pitching philosophy lol

There’s something wrong in the Braves pitcher development department.

Been shouting that for over a decade now...we haven’t developed a legit pitcher since Glavine...or Smoltz.

I guess you can kind of say Folty...

Now that's going too far. May not have developed an ace but there have been guys that developed since. The last mainly Braves guy was Alex Wood though (but on the other hand he seemed ready out of the box for the most part), Folty would count but he also had a lot of time in Houston.

Picking mostly big risk arms isn't a great idea.

Teheran was good before the rebuild ruined him. Tommy Hansen was pretty damn good. Alex Wood before we dealt him for nothing. Beachy/Medlen/Minor were good before injuries.
