4/1 GDT - braves vs the white Sox (and the weather)

It's only four games and it means nothing, but man, put the Braves' lineup next to that of the White Sox and look at the OPS for each player, and it is striking.

Was at work today. Better late than never

Looking at the schedules for mutual off days, June 27 looks like an ideal date where they could get the last 1-2 games of this series in. White Sox will be in the middle of a homestand and Braves will have just finished a road series in St. Louis. They could swing by Chicago before heading home that weekend.

Havent looked at the weather, can they get either game in today or Wednesday?

I made a similar post yesterday, but if MLB plans on continuing to start the season in March/Early April, the only teams the northern teams need to host are divisional teams. I know it'll go against everything they want since you only have 2 road trips now to each division rival instead of the unbalanced 3 of years past, but it is ridiculous that Atlanta may have to make 3 separate trips to Chicago this year.

MLB really wants you to play 2 of your 4 divisional series in August/September leaving you to fit most of your schedule outside of those two months.

They may be able to squeeze in five tonight with a delay. Tomorrow not looking good.

They will get the whole game in tonight and there may not even be a delay… tomorrow may be the bigger problem… if it was a night game, I’d feel better but rain (or snow!) is gonna be parked overhead almost all morning and afternoon tomorrow.

Welp… the whole game will get in tonight. Don’t know what else to tell you. I don’t interpret these models for a living or anything…

LOL, I sure don't. If you do, then hell, I'll park myself in front of my viewing option, which seems to still be Bally for the time being, and enjoy the fact that I'm not trying to hold a bat in 38 degree weather.

Oh it’s gonna suck to play in but they would have to cancel for temps… not rain… and I don’t think they are going to do that when it’s above freezing. Worst case scenario for rain is a brief late start but it’s going to be dry in Chicago after 6-7 ish

What are you thinking about tomorrow's game?
