That 2010 always has a soft spot in my heart and is one of those "what could have been" years IMO.
Quality starting pitching (Lowe, Hudson, JJ, Hanson)
Pretty loaded lineup with a few holes (Chipper, McCann, Prado, Glaus (who was in MVP form before age caught up with him),Heyward, Infante
Absolutely dominant and deep bullpen
One of the best benches in Braves history (Infante, Hinske, Conrad,Ross)
But injuries, and late season injuries specifically killed any chances for that team to go far.
Would have been really interesting if team stayed healthy, McClouth even resembled anything close to what he was in Pitt the previous 2 years, and no Melky. Really would have loved to see Vazquez at the top of that rotation and find a legit leadoff hitter and what could have been...say we had Bourne and kept KJ to put in left.
