4/14 : Charlie is the STOPPER... and Freddie in Two Hole

The unfortunate part is after those 200 PA's he doesn't turn it around, he pretty much will have lost all trade value.

i think he already doesn’t have much if anything.
i’m more worried about what another 200 PA of that will do to the season.

Baseball stats are so stupid.

Why does the SP have to go 5 IP to get a win, but a reliever doesn't.

How. Is that a SP who goes 4 innings without giving up the lead not more deserving of the 5 relievers who each pitch one IP after?

Just dumb arbitrary weirdness

Then he should have been in the cage all spring practicing his bunting. This isn't rocket science.

So your theory is bc Morton should be able to bunt, just treat the situation like he can bunt. The problem is Morton can't bunt, and Acuna is on deck so a runner being on is vital.

Reason #24 why nobody who makes any decisions cares about pitcher wins anymore.

It's the problem with the short bench and the 14-man staff. I suppose the alternative is to have Morton stand with the bat on his shoulder and take three down the middle so there's no DP. But there's no excuse for Morton not being able to bunt.
