4/15/15 n GDT: Phil at 3rd! Kelly in right!

Tough couple of days, but 6-3 is a solid start with this roster. I hope Stults and Cahill right the ship so they're not tempted to bring Wisler up before the Super Two cutoff.

Even with what I've seen so far from Stults and Cahill, I still don't think I'd jump in the time machine and keep Wandy over either of them. Perhaps I'll feel differently in a couple weeks. Given we're unlikely to contend, I think it's best to put a premium on durability in order to keep guys like Wisler and Folty at AAA.

That kind of attitude was good enough last year. But this year's team has a will to win that is very impressive, and we fans need to adopt a similar attitude. We have to care about winning!

I know. I know. I'm a Heyward, and I feel terrible about that. Such a disappointment.

Actually the excess of home runs indicates that we are deviating from a program that was working.

Actually we have been getting a similar amount of singles the last few games they just haven't been clustered together like they were last week. This is just the reality of having weak offensive players.

I don't even think it's an indictment of the approach either. There are players who make contact and don't strike out and there are players who make hard contact and don't strikeout. We don't have many players who consistenly make hard contact.

Wouldn't be surprised to see the Wizzinator get a call up in June assuming he puts up some good numbers. Don't really care about Stults/Cahill as they are just place holders.
