If this doesn't sum up our season, I don't know what does.
Sheesh dudeIf this doesn't sum up our season, I don't know what does.
Some lefty that throws 90 and knows how to pitch but is great value so AA can use more money on some rando in the 5th round.Who’s the top draft pick we could start over analyzing

The infamous pop up prospect. Never been more prevalent than during AA'S era. Watching these minor league games are an exercise in azzhatery. But he threw 95 in a 1-inning simulated game. AA loves his SSS
Of all the things Anthopoulos has done to de-Coppolellasize the organization, the absence of a decision on Snitker is starting to stick out a bit. I don't know if firing him matters all that much and if he is let go, there would probably be a major housecleaning of the current staff ( particularly Weiss) at the same time. I don't know who that leaves from the major league staff except for maybe Tuiasosopo. There's not a logical successor among the current set of minor league managers, so maybe Anthopoulos would try to steal nutcase John Gibbons--also from the Paleolithic period of baseball strategy--from the Mets.Firing twit won’t do anything. Walt will just be promoted which is just as bad.
I agree 100%. When the bats do eventually wake up, it’ll make it seem like Weiss was the change, and then they’d hand another Bobby guy the job for 2-3 more mediocre managing years.Firing twit won’t do anything. Walt will just be promoted which is just as bad.
I always have had the impression that AA didn't want to keep Snit but has no choice. Especially due to the success of the team since AA has been here. Feels like it would be a PR disaster to fire a manager who hasn't even missed the playoffs since AA got here.Of all the things Anthopoulos has done to de-Coppolellasize the organization, the absence of a decision on Snitker is starting to stick out a bit. We'll know more in a month. If the team isn't over .500 by then a change might be in the offing. It doesn't appear that either the Mets or Phillies are going to run away with the division so I expect Anthopoulos is going to be patient.
Think he just got too full of himself. The kelenic deal was a prime example of thinking he's much smarter than he is.It's almost like AA stopped paying attention. Did he open a winery or something that's taking up most of his time?
He let FF walk. He could have survived twit firing.I always have had the impression that AA didn't want to keep Snit but has no choice. ExactlyFiring Snit could be handled tactfully. Simply move him into an advisory role, and parade him around the organization so he can play the adorable old uncle role. Claim he wants to take a step back from the everyday grind, but he's so valuable the org wants to keep him around to share his wealth of knowledge.
He just shouldn't be making decisions during the games.
That'd be the best way to do it. If you did that now would you just let Walt take over till the season ends?Firing Snit could be handled tactfully.
