I had asked in one of the GDT at the beginning of the season what people see in CB because I don't see much. At this point having CB up with the big league club seems like a mistake he clearly doesn't look ready that is if he ever will. Why not send him down and let AJ be our everyday catcher? Seems to me that any confidence CB may have had in himself is diminishing by the day he looks terrible at the plate.

He has always struggled when promoted. Its worth it to give him through the beginning of next year to see if he can adjust. He doesnt have to hit that much to be an average starter for the position.

Because he's 23?
Because he's played in like a minimal amount of games at the professional level not even covering a full season?
Because he's the best catcher we've had in that position since David Ross?
And because he has an absolute cannon and can improve his hitting.
