I thought the lineup was fine, and overall, he's done fine working with what he has in that respect. My issue was pulling KJ when he hits lefties better (I believe) and Gilmartin had walked two straight. Putting in Gomes was useless because that just allowed Collins to go right to the pen, and you might have been burning a pinch hitter for later.

That's a very fair point. The move didn't bother me as much as the time, but it was probably not the best choice. For me though, that decision wouldn't make the top 5 list of reasons we lost the game.

Good call. I think we're underestimating the lack of line-moving.
