4/26 GDT: Braves vs. Red Sox - Homerless streak to end vs. David Price?

That catch by Castro (along with the catch and throw by Inciarte against the gNats) are the Braves defensive plays of the year so far.
 
One nice thing about the Braves hitting nothing but singles is that our batting averages are the same as our slugging percentages...makes it easier for the statisticians, I guess.
 
In other news, Brian Jordan's pregame pick to click was Jeff Francoeur. That he is thus far correct is surprising on more than one level.

First time I can recall seeing Flowers screw up behind the plate. Given the fact he's been pretty solid so far, I'll give him the benefit of the doubt that he was crossed up by the pitch.

It did look like he might've been crossed up, but I could understand calling that a passed ball regardless.
 
Due to my rebellious nature and my disdain for overpriced satellite TV companies...I stream all of my sporting events on my Amazon FireTv and I have luxury of being able to listen and watch the game on the Sox network in NESN and d@mn it's soothing being able to soak in this audio chocolate to my ears. Joe and Smack really do us a disservice.
 
We're not good enough to have the home plate ump calling strikes against us that are a foot off the plate.

If Fredi won't defend Markakis who has been cheated quite badly that way multiple AB's this year he won't anyone. Markakis knows the strikezone very well and if he is mad something is amiss. Fredi didn't do anything to back him either so the answer is yes he should but no he won't.
 
Beautiful pinch hint choice there. Really don't have a choice considering al of your RH bats are in the starting lineup.
