4/27/15 MLB GAME THREAD Braves/Nats: Markakis still at the top - Peterson batting 7th

That was a terrible call on Freeman. He clearly checked his swing. Then, to make things worse, the umpire stared him down and provoked him into an ejection. When will umpires learn that they are the supporting cast, not the stars of the show. Just call a good game and be quiet.

Don't see the point in booing Uggla.

As was stated earlier, Uggla was a great team player and gave the team everything he had on every play. He just turned out to not be nearly as good as we needed him to be. Didn't he set a team hitting streak that still stands? Booing him is just classless IMO.

Dan's still got it.

He has been mad since he was traded.

Well he should sack up or ship out. You wanna pout and have zero interest in being out there (based off his body language the few times I have seen the Besves) then you need to be traded.

Had Freeman been in his face, I could understand, but he went out of his way to toss him. The call was questionable, and the ejection unnecessary. It's not about the umps and Freeman wasn't embarassing the ump.

#Braves Freeman flipped helmet after making last out. Not immediately ejected by ump Welke but tossed later.

When an umpire straight up says, "One more word, and I'm going to toss you," and you don't shut up, you can't say the umpire went out of his way.

Exactly. If Johnson did this, not only would no one complain about the ejection, but they would be rooting for TP to attack him in the dugout.
