That was the right decision and Charlie hit it on the screws. Just didn't work out.

I'm beginning to really enjoy Jeff in the booth. His discussion on Acuna's bat angle as the reason for his bat speed slowing down was on target.

As someone who works with hitters regularly, I’d say Jeff is just making a guess at best. That slight of a tilt won’t make someone with elite bat speed late regularly. Acuña is already unusual as he has minimal bat tip compared to most hitters. Baseball is tough. It’s not easy to keep your swing and timing locked in. Looking at the ground balls to the left side of the infield, he just needs to focus on his barrel path and sit middle-away until he syncs it back up.

If Inciarte hits the IL, I'd call up Duvall and start him vs both lefties coming up to see if he can stay hot. He looks like his old self again, he had a similar homer streak in MLB in the past. When he gets hot he can hit homers in bunches.
