5/11/15 Braves @ Reds

Speaking of someone who needs to show some power, I'd say that is more true with Nick than Peterson since Peterson plays middle infield and brings plus defense and stolen base ability. Nick so far is Aoki without the speed and stolen bases.

Well overall I'd agree with that. Still, for Jace to be an average hitter or better he needs to have some power. This is true for all hitters.

Maybe Nick told Peterson, just hit it soft and use your speed kid. I hit it soft and it works for me and I am slow. :)

I think Nick has a six- or seven-game hit streak going even though he has a .450 OPS over his last 10.

He looked safe to me because the catcher's foot was off the bag and AJ got the plate before the tag was applied.

Not sure if the league offices in NY will say it's "clear and convincing" evidence, however.

Oh, well, there goes Fredi's challenge for this game. While I disagree with the call, I can't say I'm surprised.

Fredi didn't challenge on those grounds, he challenged on the grounds of blocking the plate.

Why didn't Fredi challenge AJ smply being safe? He got his foot in before the tag was applied. It was a force play, but the catcher didn't have his foot on the plate.
