They will not give the draft pick up and really with plenty of guys to take his place and an inconsistent team....he really doesn’t make sense. Who’s to say he wouldn’t come in and not look good and then you are locked into him sucking for three years.

Problem is, Gausman and Teheran suck too. But at least Gausman’s metrics says he should be fine.

Well Gausman and Julio only need to be #3-#4’s now. What worries me is Soroka and Fried hitting their limit late in the year with not having health problems. THEN we would have problems.
 
You cannot leave Folty in rotation, he sucks and we cannot afford someone this bad in his spot. I rather have Newk over him at this point as this isn't the same Folty as last year.

I'm not worried bc we're losing tonight... folty sucks and Luke Jackson is our closer. There are other issues, but those 2 alone make us a fake contender imo

Teheran is the least of our worries. Inconsistent sure but this take is wrong. Folty...he's never been the ace yall want him to be.

No one said he was an ace. Ace of the staff maybe, because a number 2 is the best pitcher in this rotation. See: Mike Soroka.

Not getting into semantics...Folty is not it. That's my take. At least there may be an injury...or the brain cramp he always used tu get from the minors. Soroka/Fried....and????????
