This is good enough to win games:

starting pitchers have 3.14 ERA in past 14 games, and the starters in current rotation have 2.15 ERA in that span.

Tonight's fun fact: 188 MLB players have hit as many HRs as the non-Freddie Freeman Braves. This includes Christian Bethancourt.

Jung-Ho Kang has hit more HRs than this group. He has 1,200 fewer ABs.

Shae Simmons just got through the first for Gwinnett on his first rehab game, he gave up a triple and walk but struck out the side. He looked rusty as you'd expect, but got the job done.

Two things:

1.) Williams last start was a fluke

2.) IF Perez is starting why on God's green earth isn't Castro at SS??

When you have a shortstop that lacks range and has a poor arm your groundball pitchers are going to be hurt just like Williams was this first inning.

Come on now, remind us how you really feel about Perez. Maybe you can do another thread on him? JK. :)

Hahaha ouch!! Touche'

Seriously though, Williams value (to me) is in the fact he can be called up at anytime for a spot start and give you innings therefore, saving your bullpen. I know I'm tough on him, but he doesn't need to be in our rotation right now when Jenkins and Gant (shoot maybe even Sims) are chomping at the bit in AAA.

Hope all is well man!!

I'm fine with initial struggles, but Inciarte is about to drive me insane. His offense has been just horrible. Now his defense... #Fiyah
