If my other option is Sean Murphy, then yes. Randy can be Sales personal catcher.

No, I was actually agreeing with him- Sale loves Sandy and gave him all the credit for the game the other day… and I’m pretty sure Murphy would not have gotten two mega-beyond clutch hits back to back in the 10th and 11th innings last night….but Tromp did.
Now, don’t get me wrong- I do not in any way, shape, nor form undervalue the importance of a good meth source in the locker room. Especially during the playoffs. I hope Murph gets back soon and is back to his old self. And when he is, we should carry three catchers maybe.
