I really like the starters we have. I like the stuff. But walks and hrs are a problem.

If Folty wasn't facing a line-up full of free swingers he'd be having more trouble tonight. I thought tonight was a good match-up for him but somehow he's still walked four in five innings and had many full counts. Plus he has been helped overall by the defense tonight.

As much as it pains me to say anything positive about the guy, Aybar's been making much more solid contact lately. If not for a bad luck double play last night, he'd have cleared the bases.

Of course, not swinging at ball four a foot outside would have been an RBI too.
