5/28 GDT: Nats game 2

Arcia has been great defensively, but with Acuna down, could the braves look to improve the offense at SS?

Braves had this exact same record last year after 52 games but obviously more healthy .

It definitely feels different without Ronald and Spencer. But, not in terrible shape at all and there is a smart GM who has a track record of finding players who can help. As frustrating as it’s been at times, things could be a whole heck of a lot worse.

Braves have yet to be shutout this year. Honestly surprised by that with how the offense has been the last month or so.

Not sure how I feel about this team. Offense has sucked due to injuries and under performance. Lost a top 5 hitter and pitcher for the season. Phillies had a historic 2 month run due to playing nobody over .500. Braves still on pace for 95+ wins and comfortably have the top spot in the WC currently.

All that just kind of makes me apathetic.

I saw this on Twitter… and damn:

Braves are 12-12 this month:

In 12 games, they’ve given up 3 or more runs. They’re 0-12 in those games

In 12 games, they’ve given up 2 runs or fewer. They’re 12-0 in those games.

Wins are coming off elite pitching and only elite pitching at the moment.
