5/28 GDT: Nats game 2

The Phils have played poorly for 5 games.. the Braves have played poorly for a month + I will proclaim their demise when that poor play extends more than a few games.

Passes the smell test. Offense has been abysmal

Yeah I can already see the “Strider is coming back and will replace Fried as our TOR starter” articles from Bowman. No thanks - I highly doubt AJSS or anyone else establishes themselves as a middle of rotation or better starting option before year end so we will need a replacement for Fried and likely Morton as well.
 
Only problem is I feel Fried is due for a second TJ at one point in the next few years. So if you sign him to a 5 year deal it's more like a 3.5/4 year deal.

We were very fortunate his forearm soreness last year that shut him down for a few months didn't turn into an elbow injury.
