Perez looks like he has the appetite for pitching big when we need him to.

Thankfully the front office put an end to the Cahill-Stults experiment quickly. Perez and Folty are young, both have futures here, and are much better.
Perez understood the weight of this game, not wanting this team to go on a losing streak. Huge.

That also includes his one terrible outing out of the bullpen. He came into tonight with a 1.64 ERA in his two starts. He's even improved on that tonight.
