5/30 GDT - nats game 4

I don't know how anyone could think I'm
Just blaming snit. I've ripped the whole team. The fact remains that snit isn't putting them in the best position for success, which is his job. Brave hitters aren't doing their job. Snit isn't doing his job. Can't flip a whole roster, but you can change manager. The Braves would immediately be a better team with a competent manager. These moves in a game like tonight will be defended here, but when he does the same crap in October, everyone will be mad. Wanna stop the trash managing in the postseason, then stop it in the regular season

There is absolutely NO guarantee the Braves would be better with another manager. The offense is not putting itself in a position to win because they're not hitting. Nine runs in four games against the Nationals inexcusable. As I've said, Brian is not the best manager in MLB, but the fingers should be pointed at the guys in the batters box. Yeah, you've ripped them. We all have seen your angry posts. If you want to spew your venom, point the majority of it at the guys on the field.

I rip them all the damn time. The only one you get mad about it snit. Old white guy can't be blamed for anything.

Must be nice to be snit. When things are going great, he gets credit. When things are going bad, it's ThE DamN plAYErs faULT!!!! Snit is the greatest coach since Vince Lombardi!!!!!

Yes, I see you rip them all the time. I'm just trying to figure out how another manager would instantly make things better. Does another manager have a secret formula that makes the guys all hit again? Does Snitker do everything right? Absolutely not. But again, and I feel like a freaking broken record, it up to the guys with the bats in their hands to turn things around.

I told you. A competent manager wouldn't have had Ozzie, Murphy, Arcia, Duvall, kelenic, and Harris in a row. If you just flip Duvall and kelenic, kelenic faces a rhp with 2 on in 2nd and 1 on in the 9th. Even after this blunder to start with, snit doubled down by letting Duvall face the rhp in 9th with TDA on bench...

Duvall vs rhp...
-9 wrc+ (yes, that's negative!)
.328 ops

TDA vs rhp...
103 wrc+
.707 ops

TDA is at least competent vs rhp. Duvall isn't, AT, all

I feel like we might either need a different voice or a wakeup call. If the offensive approaches seemed to be improving, it would be one thing. But then again the offense was historic under Seitzer last year, so I would be tempted to look elsewhere as the root cause. But then he has one job, and pretty much everyone looks like garbage right now.

I feel like we probably downgraded with the base coaches, but I don't really know if pulling that lever does anything.

Another week of this and Seitzer should be shown the door

I've said before after watching the many position players in the minors from fcl to freaking Augusta. Wtf is the hitting philosophy top to bottom. You think the mlb team is clueless, these hitting "prospects" straight up stink. I've never seen as clueless batting as I've witnessed this year. Putrid. What is the Brave hitting philosophy?

On the subject of seitzer, kelenic last year in 105 games was a .333 xwoba hitter. Seitzer fixed his swing, thus making him a .280 xwoba. With the assets we poured into kelenic, this should be a firable offense for seitzer

Swing hard at everything

Swing hard at everything
I'm not trying to beat this to death but I don't understand. Believe it or not, I've only seen improvement from A. Tavarez and he's below the Mendoza line(hasn't struck out in 4 games. WIN). Benitez was reassigned to FCL and he still can't hit. I could go on...and on...

I agree state. Grip it and rip it..

We really need to develop nacho Alvarez and an OF. I'm worried about those 2 spots. AA has depleted our farm

A lot of pent up anger and frustration in this thread.

I am frustrated too. I have learned to stay a little further away from the game day threads when the Braves are losing.

Not for the faint of heart, and they really don’t make me feel any better.

A's throwing guys with eras in low 3s the next 2 days. I'm thinking this offense got threw a shovel, and they're gonna dig an even lower rock bottom
