5/31... angels game 3

I think the question is what do his prior two years mean before being with the braves. We're there reasons for his poor play that are no longer applicable? Kemp is closing in now on 4 months of great production with the braves.

That's the thing, "projection"

I understand being pessimistic about his production moving forward, but his actual production with the Braves has been nothing short of stellar.

There is this obsession with being right about everything that we sometimes forget to enjoy the moment.

Credit Snit for having the foresight to realize that the team might benefit from having some speed at first base.

Jamie Garcia is pitching his ass off this year. Unfortunate we don't have another year of control. If the return isn't great I'd like to resign him.

If he keeps pitching this way the return should be pretty damn good for a legit LH starter around the trade deadline. I'm not interested in signing an injury prone 30+ starter to a long term deal.

Bravo. Well said

Swanson struggling, but at least Ks are way down. Last 11 games in 38 PAs, Swanson has K'd 6 times (15.8%) and walked 4 times (10.5%). He's getting no hits though... seems everything is on the ground instead of those nice linedrives he was hitting

A slider to Dansby Swanson is like a curveball was to Pedro Cerrano.

Which means he'll go on the DL with shoulder soreness a week before the trade deadline 😂
