Huh? We face Pitt, then Washington twice with the BoSox sandwiched in. Not exactly a murderers row of opponents.

However, the end of May through Mid June is going to be tough.
 
I liked that Arcia atleast had some pop in his bat. Going from 17 Hr to less than 5 likely for Allen is a lot imo. But if we have to get shitty production from SS lets atleast play an elite defender. SS is the one position where defense is just that important. Catching too but that includes calling games.
 
When Acuna comes back, White will just be 4OF/backup CF. Allen will be hitting 9th and the least of our worries if he's playing this great of defense.

I'm more worried on if Ozzie will ever learn how to hit.
 
Ozzie is coming around, imo. Better approach lately and some hard hit balls right at guys. His EV is increasing and his GB rate is decreasing. Of course there is the occasional "What the hell are you doing" moments, but that's always been Ozzie, even when he's on a heater.

If his EV rate is increasing it means he’s going to start swinging for the fences again. Not sure if that’s good or bad.

yeah, he is trying this slap the ball approach it seems. His Swing is slower, his EV's are down, but he is taking more pitches and striking out a little less... at least a week or so ago when I checked.

I've noticed he has started making harder contact recently. I'm guessing he is giving up on whatever he was trying.
