ALL of our big prospects have better stuff than Julio I hate to say. Julio is a fighter and a good pitcher. His "stuff" is nothing special now. The home runs he gave up were long ones. This park will exploit that type of pitcher to a greater degree.

He had a 3.59 ERA at home and a 2.69 on the road last year. You are thinking of 2015.

Jorge Sosa was 10-1 that one year with us on the road.

Like Jorge, it is not a given Julio makes it to the 4th or 5th inning without already throwing 90-100 pitches.

This pitching staff is atrocious. There's no other way around it. And the worst of it is that its mostly not a bunch of young guys getting experience.

Look John Hart knows Bartolo from way back. He knows what the guy brings to the table and the incredible influence he can have on our young pitchers. Just having him in the locker room is yuge. We need to be patient and trust our front office.
