Again, the team is apathetic. They obviously care, but not a lot at this point.
Maybe this will finally, finally be Fredi's last final game as the Braves' manager finally.

34-76 since July 5th 2015. We were at 42-42 and 4 games out at that point.

No one could do worse than Fredi has at home, that's for sure. I doubt anyone could any worse overall either, maybe a few would do similar or same.

If we trade him that's what I'd want in return, similar to the Houston-Philly and SD-Boston trades. But we may need to hold on to Viz and let him rack up a solid year saving games this year to pull that type of return or similar. Maybe next off-season. Then again after how those trades have worked out so far, might hurt us getting that return. The Houston one might especially be a wake-up call to others considering paying so much for closers as it has been a bust for Houston and great for Philly.

And not a bit of that is Fredi's fault. He does not deserve to be fired. Not after being handed this pile of crap. I am all for the rebuild but I feel Fredi deserves better than to be just dumped. I hope when he latches on he beats the Braves like a drum. I also hope rips the three Johns a new one.

Fredi suffered from the man to follow the legend syndrome. That's his only mistake.

I don't see any reason to debate what makes Fredi a bad manager further as I think everyone knows by now his days are numbered. So you can make all the excuses for him you want and hope he kicks our butts managing elsewhere if that makes you feel better.

Actually, not everyone that says Fredi should be fired and should've been in the past blames only him for the losing now or in the past. I am not sure anyone ever does truly but that it's more those trying their best to defend Fredi who argues as if that's the view when in reality we all have our differing opinions and understandings on Fredi, FO, and the players. Further, if you don't want to call what you said excuses for Fredi, I could just say if that is your best defense of him it's very weak and your opinions here are not "facts" but of course they are from a certain point of view.
