I've had a place in my heart for guns because I enjoy target practice and **** like that. But I really wouldn't care at this point if they banned them completely.

I think I stopped caring about 1000 mass shootings ago.

Which, unfortunately, wasn't all that long ago.

I would also like to say that I'm glad being the kind of atheist I am doesn't require me to hold to any specific set of ideals or support any fellow atheists. Some are dumb as ****, apparently.

but please, detail how i am being hypocritical by going to see how other countries and cultures live that have helped me mold me and hopefully made me come to realize to make better choices while also interacting with locals from said places and we are sharing our ideas with each other and hopefully having some impact of change

please detail how me trying to change things here at home where we the USA should lead other countries in social change is bad?

Interviews with survivors and the gay community in the city appear to show that Mateen was, in fact, a fixture at Pulse, where some regulars say they’ve seen him on more than a dozen occasions, as far back as three years ago.

At least four regular customers at the Orlando gay nightclub where a gunman killed 49 people said Monday that they had seen Omar Mateen there before. "Sometimes he would go over in the corner and sit and drink by himself, and other times he would get so drunk he was loud and belligerent," Ty Smith said. Smith told the Orlando Sentinel that he saw Mateen inside at least a dozen times.

When you listen to his father, you get a glimpse of the warped thought process that likely led to him taking this approach to addressing that part of himself.

yes, this should topic should obviously go to talk about an organization that gives money to lobby for laws to not have everyone be viewed as equal under the law

nice to see them do something good. they do a lot of good/nice things it seems. These actions don't erase the actions they do on the other hand though

Very sad to hear of these events. I have many gay friends who are amazing people. I don't support the slaughter of anyone with different views than mine.
