6/11 vs mets

Swanson's defense is much better than this board gives him credit for esp once he cuts out the dumb errors
 
That "hit" is the perfect summation of these last 2 days. Everything has gone perfect for the mets and just awful for the braves

So you agree with the advanced stats about him?

UZR has him at 3rd among SS at turning two and 13th in range. That's pretty damn good. The problem is he's tied for 2nd worst in error runs. Which obviously is not good. If he cuts that out he's going to be a plus defender which is the type of talent he has.

Would love to sell Garcia soon. I wonder how serious the conversations are at this point. I know everyone says trade talks usually heat up after the draft.

So we need to get faster players? Having a high OBP and being 3rd in the NL in groundball % will sadly result in a lot of double plays. That groundball % will also explain some of the high BABIP and resulting good avg as well as the below avg slugging.
