All hail John Hart!

That was a hell of a good deal. An upgrade that didn't cost us much of anything.

At first I thought it was kind of silly for 76 to be talking about extenting him, but now I'm not so sure.

We do not have a third base option internally for next season. If Uribe would take a 2 year deal I'd give it to him. You could trade him if he has a good season and say Ruiz is ready.

Thanks (I think).

My only thought was that we seem to have a hard time finding solid position players at a reasonable price and Uribe seemed to fit that mold. The other plus is that he is one of the few guys in the lineup that can go deep.

I assumed when we traded for Uribe he was just going to be terrible, but he's looked like a good ball player. And he had a good year last year and the year before. So it's not like there's no possibility of him being a good player for us say this season and next.
