What is the reasoning behind KJ hitting behind Uribe, AJ, and Simmons vs. a righty?

Expecting Markakis to absorb Freddie's power in the 3rd spot and hit a "mile high" shot as Chip would say.

Uribe has been equal lefties vs. righties for his career and is hitting lefties better this year (.805-.720)

He has had 29 at bats vs lefties this year. Uribe has had a long career and the best 2 years of his career were 2014 and 2013 in which he hit RH pitching better than LH pitching. What he did 10 years ago isnt relevant. Even going back to 2012 and 2011 when he was bad he hit better vs RH pitching. Looks like he had strong normal platoon stats early in his career.

we live in a world where Markakis is hitting 3rd or 4th. Uribe is hitting 4th for us today. AJ is 5th.........what a line up.

I'm really not sure we have enough separation in hitters to argue about placement. No FF at the top and no CB at the bottom. The middle is......underwhelming.....but more runs than last year.

Really wished we would have gotten the cuban Tomas and put him in RF. We'd look decent with him in RF, Markakis in LF, and FF in the line up.

Expecting Eury Perez to hit a home-run before Markakis does.

This Markakis to LF is going to become a thing. He isn't moving to LF. He is in RF for his arm not his range. LF sees just as many balls as RF. If that makes you sad then it's going to be a long 4 years for you.

I thought for sure CJ was going to play at 1B tonight. I'm glad I'm wrong. Hopefully this is the writing on the wall.

The FO has eaten Cahill's and Quentin's salaries this year. You could hope CJ is next even though he has more than just the rest of the year unlike Cahill and Quentin. I don't even like CJ as a pinch hitter, and we know he sucks in the field.
