Really good day for the Braves.
Mets, Phillies, Padres, Dodgers, Giants and Cardinals all lose. The one negative is that the Brewers won.

15-2 in June, 4-2 road-trip. 5.5 back. Played a whole pile of scrub teams- but those are still major league pitchers and hitters.
Our pitchers are looking damn good these days, I mean damn good. Our offense is too. Damn good.
We have playoff teams coming in for a big week, ball park will be rocking.
My super insider source says that Emma and the elephant are gonna be bouncing up and down a lot.

Taking 4 out of 6 against the NL West the next week should hush some of the doubters of our 14 game winning streak.

Olsons game yesterday was a very good example of why his production is down in 2022. The 3 rockets he hit all had a launch angle under 20 degrees, and didn’t fly out of the park.
His missing 50 points in slugging translates to 13 missing extra bases, or 6-7 doubles elevated a bit more to become HRs.
If Olson had a much more typical 20 doubles and 15 bombs rather than the 27 and 8 he currently has, his stat line would be almost exactly at his projections. The Braves need to figure out why Olson is failing to elevate the ball because that is literally the only thing “wrong” with him right now…offensively anyways.
