even with Garcia's resurgence he's been below avg with the bat and the glove in June (94 wRC+ and a -5.5 UZR/150) . We could use an upgrade there.
 
Guys like Garcia and Peterson are good bench options. But we should go into 2017 with guys starting ahead of them. If they force their way into the lineup great. But they should not be the first option as regulars.

I wanted him moved to the bullpen, because I figured the pen was garbage enough there was nothing to lose. But I thought he needed to stay in the pen.
 
Honestly, all the sudden we have quite a few attractive trade chips... not that will all get us huge prospects, but still some quality players... Norris (he may be reaching the tier of a good prospect), Frenchy, d'Arnaud, Ogando, Beckham (if he comes back soon and plays well), Garcia, etc...
 
It's almost like our trading chips worked together from the beginning of the season to cohesively suck to get us another good pick and then up their trade value by performing well before the deadline. Hope they're not peaking too early.

Also Jim Johnson. And maybe some team will need a lefty for the pen. We have three who are doing a decent job. And Chase Peterson's stock has gone up.

Forgot about JJ... I think we want to keep Peterson for a utility guy... maybe we can get an Olivera caliber player for JJ.
 
Aybar has played a bit better too since coming off the DL. Might as well move him if any half decent offer comes along.
