Got to find a back end reliever really bad. Bummer has a sub 2 FIP vs lhp and sub 3 FIP vs rhp. He needs to be more 8th than 5th inning. No idea who can close, and unfortunately, snit won't do it on matchups

I mean he had to know it was coming. He was cut twice since the season started before he came here.

Get a couple of more good SP in the offseason and move Holmes and Lopez to the bullpen and that back end of the bullpen with JJ back would be nasty.

I’ve had MLB network on for the last several hours getting a bunch of work done, and they have been talking about this game ad nauseam.

I’ve seen the highlights about twenty times and still cannot fully comprehend what I’ve seen today. Up 6 runs with one out and nobody on in the ninth inning. 🤣

I oddly remember this game from the summer of 2001 between the Pirates and Astros. Astros were up 6 runs with 2 out and nobody on in the 9th...the game ended with a Brian Giles walk off grand slam off Billy Wagner.

2001 also had the 12 run comeback from the Indians against the record-breaking Mariners. All happnened from the 7th inning forward.
 
not that Blew-it was anything special and should NOT be pitching for a contending team... but he didn't deserve the wrath of what happened yesterday.. he was off and couldn't command anything and twit left him out there way too long.. Riggy came in and the one that shit the bed. Twit should have been released not blew-it. Scott actually has had several great games for the team and saved their bacon a few times.. replacing blew-it with manbun is a net negative I am afraid.
